Story Behind the Song: Just playing around with the acoustic one night and the verse chord pattern and meter just melded with something that got stuck in my head (basically the first verse...) -- From there it kind of transitioned into a situation a friend was having with the "meltdown" of his marriage right before his very eyes (with his own contribution to the meltdown included) -- and that's all she wrote.
